Reflection on Program Experience

    As part of the MA/TESL program, graduates are asked to reflect on the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. There are ten learning outcomes that the graduates are expected to meet in order to become effective teachers in their respective fields. For this portfolio, I elected to focus on how I applied the knowledge I that gained during my year on campus to my experience in the Peace Corps. Each of the following learning outcomes will demonstrate my understanding of the material and how I was able to use that knowledge to become an effective Peace Corps volunteer. Below, you will find a short presentation stating the ten learning outcomes that will are presented in more detail in the menu bar.

Learning Outcomes

This project is a culmination of all the academic work that I have completed during my master degree courses. I have applied the knowledge that I learned throughout those courses to my twenty-seven month Peace Corps service. The following project will highlight the information that I learned and how it was used during my service.
