American Embassy Summer Camp
This is the final draft of the summer camp lesson plans and materials. These lesson plans were created for a 3 day American Embassy summer camp where the context was language immersion for low- income students that received an English language scholarship from the embassy. The students were in the first year of the program and mostly had a high beginner level of English. The theme of the camp was different countries that speak English as an official language. The lesson plans were created for the United Kingdom and range from classroom activities to outdoor games. Creating these lesson plans allowed me to highlight my creative side because there were less restrictions than in a regular English classroom.
