Professional Development
Professional development is an integral part of continuing to improve one's teaching skills. During the year I spent on campus at Gonzaga University, I attended a monthly conference where fellow classmates and professors shared their research and ideas. I also attended the Spokane Regional ESL Conference where I had the opportunity to listen to different presentations on language learning as well as talk to a returned Peace Corps volunteer. Recently, I submitted a proposal to present at the Spokane Regional ESL Conference to share my experience as a Peace Corps EFL teacher in Ecuador.
