In this section, you will find lesson plans for three different courses. The first set of lesson plans were created for a secondary Ecuadorian high school English class. The topic of the unit is titled Foods at the Supermarket. On the page, you will find seven lesson plans with the materials, an assessment plan, and teaching reflections from my Peace Corps service. The second set of lesson plans were designed for a 12 week TOEFL course for Ecuadorian English teachers. You will see five sample lesson plans from the course showcasing each of the four skills. There is also a written assessment for each of the four skills as well as an overall assessment for the course. The last set of lesson plans were created for a summer camp run by the American embassy. The theme of the 3 day camp was countries that speak English. My group represented the United Kingdom and therefore, the lesson plans focus on teaching the culture of the United Kingdom. Finally, on the Teaching Video page, you can find a short video of me teaching a class in Ecuador. The focus of the lesson was frequency adverbs and hobbies.
